1. Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Quxy ("the Service"), operated by HUXY, LLC, a limited liability company. By using Quxy, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Acceptable Use

You may use Quxy to create, manage, and share QR codes for lawful purposes. You agree not to use the Service to:

• Distribute malware, phishing links, or deceptive content
• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Infringe the intellectual property rights of others
• Send unsolicited commercial communications (spam)
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or account
• Use automated means to create accounts or generate QR codes at scale without our written consent

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to any account or QR code that violates these terms, without prior notice.

3. Service Availability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, data retention, or uninterrupted access.

4. Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how HUXY, LLC collects, uses, and shares information when you use Quxy. We are committed to being transparent about our data practices.

This policy applies to all users of Quxy, including visitors from the European Union, United Kingdom, California, and other jurisdictions with applicable privacy laws.

5. Data We Collect

Account & QR Code Data

• Email address (when you create an account or claim a QR code)
• QR code destination URLs and content you create (vCards, form fields, uploaded files)
• Marketing opt-in preference (whether you agreed to receive emails from us)
• Team membership and collaboration data

Scan Analytics Data

When someone scans a QR code you created, we collect:

• IP address of the scanner
• Approximate location derived from IP address (city, country) via a third-party geolocation service
• Device type (mobile, desktop, tablet)
• Browser type
• Date and time of scan
• HTTP referrer (the page or app that triggered the scan, if available)
• The destination URL at the time of the scan

Technical & Usage Data

• Log data including pages visited, actions taken, and timestamps
• Session data stored in secure server-side sessions

We do not collect payment information. We do not use tracking pixels or third-party advertising SDKs on this site at this time.

6. How We Use Your Data

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and operate the Quxy service
• Display scan analytics to QR code owners
• Send transactional emails (login codes, claim notifications, team invites)
• Send marketing or product emails to users who have opted in
• Improve and develop the Service based on usage patterns
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

If we introduce on-site advertising in the future, we will update this policy and notify users before doing so.

Users Outside the United States

Quxy is operated from the United States. If you are accessing the Service from outside the US, your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer. We take reasonable steps to ensure your data is treated securely in accordance with this policy.

9. Cookies & Session Storage

Quxy uses a single server-side session cookie strictly necessary to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies at this time. We do not use Google Analytics or similar tracking services.

Because our only cookie is technically necessary for the service to function, we do not require a cookie consent banner under most interpretations of GDPR. If we add non-essential cookies in the future, we will implement a consent mechanism before doing so.

10. Data Retention

We retain your account data and QR code data for as long as your account is active. Scan analytics data is retained indefinitely to provide historical analytics to QR code owners. If you request deletion of your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

IP addresses collected during scans are retained as part of analytics records. If you are a visitor who scanned a QR code and wish to request deletion of your scan data, contact us with your IP address and the approximate time of the scan.
